Royal Drama

The Royal couple Megan and Harry seem to be going through some major drama.

Royalty.  The crown, money, power, dresses, tuxes.

Many think that luxury life is amazing, but there are struggles. Trying to follow all the regulations, and some are blatant, like racism. From 2011 to 2018, the year that Harry and Meghan married, hate crimes in Britain have increased by more than 100 percent, according to a study by the Centre for Social Investigation at Nuffield College.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan made big drama Wednesday with a historic announcement that they would “step back” from their roles as senior members of the British royal family.

These two people fell in love, got married, and face scrutiny in everything that they do. One news outlet even called their kid a chimpanzee. Megan got called out for closing the door of her car instead of letting someone close it for her.

Many blame Megan for the fact that they want to leave, but in truth both want to leave this toxic environment. Mainly to protect their son from the media. Especially since Harry’s mother died trying to get the media to leave her alone.

They finally had enough of the press in their faces and made a post on Twitter saying that they were going to step back from some of their Royal Duties, and the money and go out and make their own.

The Queen quickly issued a statement saying that negotiations are still in progress: “Discussions with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early stage,” the statement said carefully. This is an important statement for the queen who usually does not send a lot through social media. “We understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through.”

Megan has left to go to Canada with her son leaving Harry to talk to his family. They came to the conclusion that they will no longer use the term Royal Highness and they have to pay for the work they did to their home in the UK. They also no longer get money from taxpayers.

In the end, they think the move will be good for their son, Archie. The main reason they left in the first place so that he didn’t have to be exposed to all the media.

And that’s just another piece of royal drama.
