The Karate Kid

When Daniel LaRusso moves to California, he meets his landlord, Mr. Miyagi, who starts to teach him karate after he gets beat up, so he can compete in a tournament against his bully, who happens to be his girlfriend’s ex. Daniel trains by using calmer techniques of karate, while his bully is trained by a ruthless instructor who will stop at nothing for his dojo to win the tournament.
