Independence Day

Two days before Independence Day, communication systems worldwide are disturbed by a current from outer space. It spikes chaos throughout the world. The military soon learns that there are several meteors on their way to Earth. However, it is soon revealed that the “meteors” are actually spaceships filled with an alien species unknown to man. An ex-scientist, David Lenson, soon discovers that they are going to attack major points around the globe. After several major cities are destroyed, such as New York and Paris, the survivors venture to Area 51, where scientists are supposedly holding one of the alien spacecrafts. They develop a plan on how to defeat the alien enslavers. On July 2, the battle begins.
