Mr. Anticole

“Mr. Anticole never fails to brings positive vibes to the classroom (whether it’s in-person or virtual). When he’s not cracking jokes, he’s always ready to help his students understand the material. I’ll miss spending time in his class with the chem squad!!”

Maeren Quirke, Sophomore

“Mr. Anticole is a fun, kind, and caring teacher and is always looking out for his students. He’s also very passionate about chemistry and makes it more fun by either cracking a joke or telling one of his crazy stories. Thanks for everything Mr. Anticole, and Period 2 and I will miss you!”

Lindey Glinoga, Sophomore

“I honestly don’t think I’d enjoy chemistry if I had a different teacher. Even now, when I’m barely capable of remembering 3D Lewis dot structures, Mr. Anticole makes it fun. Thank you to the teacher who cares enough about us to light something on fire with thermite in the courtyard just so we get to see something cool.”

Samantha Podnar, Sophomore

“Mr. Anticole’s class has always been such fun! With remote learning, he has been going the extra mile with hosting live classrooms every day so we can ask him questions and really get the content he is giving us! Those live classrooms help so much and all of us are so grateful! Mr. Anticole is always laughing and making sure each of his students are understanding the content, and when you don’t, his door is always open so you can go and ask for help. I always loved hearing either chem jokes or just the old-time music as I walked into the classroom because it always brightened up my day! His personality is amazing. Thank you so much for everything you have for me this year and my fellow classmates, it was a year to remember! I hope we can see you again one day!!”

Madison Shanahan, Sophomore

“Mr. Anticole is awesome. There’s no other way to put it. He’s so fun in the classroom and ensures he gets to know each and every one of his students. Period 7 was a hoot and although we were still working out some kinks, he never failed to let us get too upset with one another. From cotton candy and fun dip to butterflies and rainbows, Mr. Anticole is the highlight of my day and keeps me going!”

Allison Franz, Sophomore

“At the beginning of this year, I left biology and walked into Honors Chemistry with nothing but dread. I loved biology and had terrible stigmas and preconceived ideas about how chemistry would be really boring. Fast forward to May, and Mr. Anticole has completely transformed me. As soon as I walked into his classroom on the first day I knew what an amazing year it would be with him, which makes it especially gutting that it was cut short. From his amazing taste in music, his jokes that will have you in stitches, and his constant enthusiasm and endless love for life, he has an amazing respect from his students that not all teachers have. Mr. Anticole has structured his class to make it as easy as humanly possible on his students, and he puts in ridiculous amounts of effort and hours into his course that I’m sure goes unappreciated, but hopefully I can shed light onto that. If someone had told me that I would have double period lectures in chemistry at the end of the last school year, I don’t even know what I would’ve done. Mr. Anticole somehow figured out how to make that interesting too. His lectures are never boring and you always walk away having learned something new, no matter what day of the week it is. Every single concept he’s explained he’s done so well that they’re all etched in my memory. He truly is an amazing TEACHer. He sits down with students during homeroom, never says he doesn’t have time for a question, and will never be frustrated if you say ‘I don’t get it.’ Mr. Anticole has my utmost respect and always will. I don’t even think words can do justice for how grateful I am towards him for changing my mindset about chemistry and giving me an amazing year, albeit it was cut short.”
