Mrs. Watt
“Wow, where do I even start! I came to NAI last year halfway through the year and Mrs. Watt did everything in her power to help me fit right in. She made me feel like I went to NA my whole life. She truly is THE best educator I have ever had. She didn’t treat me or any of her students like another kid she taught English to, she values every single one of her students like they are her own kid. Mrs. Watt was always more than just a teacher for me, I thought of her as a role model and as a mom while I was at school. She was with me on my hardest days when I just needed a shoulder to cry on, and she was also there for me when I had some of the best moments of my life!! Mrs. Watt did more than just grade my papers and enter grades into the grade book. She came to my performances in the summer, she strengthened my confidence not only as a student but as a human and a performer. Words will never begin to describe how I feel about Mrs. Watt. She is one of the best humans I have in my life and I thank you NAI for letting her be my teacher. I appreciate her more than life and I would seriously be nowhere close to where I am in life right now without her. She has helped me make big decisions, and I am still wondering how I got so lucky as to be close with a teacher like Mrs. Watt. I hope everyone gets to see how special she is, she needs to be cherished by all of us. Next year I move to a different school, the memories Mrs. Watt and I have made these past 2 years at NAI will truly last forever. I dreaded coming to school until Mrs. Watt opened my eyes and showed me what school was really like. I love coming to school every day and due to the impact she has made on me, I will really, really miss North Allegheny next year. Thank YOU, Mrs. Watt, for everything you have done for me. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.”

“I had this amazing teacher for English impact this year and every day she was so nice and kind to every student and really helpful with understanding the topic we were learning. She’s extremely generous and I hope I can at least see them in the hallways next year!!”
