During this time, we’ve been social distancing and mainly staying in our houses. While we’re inside, we’ve been having a lot of time to ourselves. A lot of us have run out of things to do during our time off, so here’s a list of ten classic 80’s movies to watch during this time off. Everytime they go to sleep, he is there, until one kid tries to stop him by bringing him to the real world and killing him again, for good this time.
Stand by Me
An author looks back at an event that happened in his life with his three closest friends. They heard a story about a dead body of a kid their age who went missing and was presumed dead. They decide to go on an adventure to find the body in the woods. All the while, they have to avoid several obstacles and to find the body before a group of older teens find it.
Goonies
A group of friends are forced to leave their neighborhood when a company plans to demolish their homes. In the attic of one of the kids, they find a treasure map that leads to a pirate ship that holds treasure from the 17th century. They face several obstacles in their way to get the treasure and save their homes from demolition.

A girl is turning sixteen and is super excited for her big day. However, there’s one major problem, her entire family forgot it was her birthday. She doesn’t believe it can get much worse, but as she goes through the twist and turns of her day, she realizes that that was only a fantasy.
Top Gun
The Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School is where the best fighter pilots in the U.S. air force train. Maverick and Goose are both moved up to “Top Gun” after a pilot quit. Once they get there, they have to battle their way to the top, but there are some who plan to do the same thing, such as pilot “Iceman”.
The Breakfast Club
Five teens from completely different friend groups are stuck in detention together on a Saturday. They’re all forced to write a 1000 word essay explaining who they think they are, but by the end of their nine-hour detention, they may see themselves completely different than before thanks to their adventures together around the school, managing to avoid the principal the entire day.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Ferris Bueller is a normal teenager who doesn’t want to go to school, so what does he do? He plays sick and goes on adventures with his friends. His principal becomes skeptical of Ferris and his nine missed absences and tries to find out what exactly he does when he is home “sick”.
