- Mismatched LAPD detectives Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh have to now work together as partners. Riggs is a retired green beret who becomes suicidal after his wife’s death, while Murtaugh is a 50-year-old who’s been in the force for a long time now. They soon discover a drug ring after investigating the murder of a banker’s daughter. It soon turns personal and they have to trust one another if they want to survive.
