Poltergeist

A typical family moves into a newly developed neighborhood in the California suburbs. Not long after moving in, they begin to realize that their house is haunted by ghosts. At the beginning, they were harmless and were just moving things around the house. However, after a while, the family notices their youngest daughter, Carol Anne, begins to stare into the TV late at night when all it plays is white noise. She says how she hears voices and they are telling her to come to them. Later on, the spirits in the house kidnap Carol Anne. The family then tries everything they can to get her back.
