Rose: My niece, Charlotte, was born healthy and happy on September 18, 2020. No matter how dark the situation, the sun will always shine after, and she is most definitely the sunshine after the darkness of a Covid-19 year. There is nothing like a baby to remind the world that life always goes on.
Bud: I’m hoping that my elderly parents will receive the vaccine soon. All I really want to do is hug and kiss my mom and dad. It is the little things in life that mean the most.
Thorn: My long-awaited trip to Miami, Florida in March of 2020 was canceled. Did I mention the trip was going to be a kid-free trip?! Of course, my husband just squeezed in his ski trip to Aspen at the end of February 2020, right before everything shut down. Somehow, someway he always comes out smelling like roses, and I always come out of situations smelling like dog poop. Get what I’m saying?
