When crafting your schedule, double check that you are making choices for yourself. It is so easy to get wrapped up in what other students are taking, but at the end of the day this is your schedule and your life. I know for me, I worried so much about being perceived by my peers as smart and as a result, I chose to take too many advanced classes that stressed me out. You need to know that you are not defined by your schedule. You are so much more than that!

I have been where you are and I know how scary it is. It is terrifying to think about the future (it still scares me to think about my own), but the best thing you can do for yourself is just take it one day at time. High school will be over before you know it and my advice to you is to enjoy yourself. You will figure out what is best for you. It might not be today or tomorrow, but it will happen. As cliché as it sounds, things will fall into place….in ways that you least expect!
