“When I first started chemistry, I was so nervous about what it had to hold. I had always heard horror stories from the sophomores when I was a freshman. They talked about how hard the tests were, the insane workload, and so much more. I truly had no idea what to expect. Little did I know that this would become my favorite class that I have a lot of success in. Mr. Zavacky made chemistry so enjoyable to be and greatly improved my confidence as a student. Whether it be a small comment about how I did good on a test or an email he sent to my parents about saying how well I am doing in chemistry, he has caused me to feel so much more confident in chemistry class. If you would’ve asked me in the beginning of the year if I was doing AP Chemistry as a junior, I would’ve definitely said no way. Well turns out, I really like chemistry and I am so excited for AP next year. This is all thanks to Mr. Zavacky. I am so grateful for everything he has done for me as a student and as a person, and I am even grateful for his corny jokes that I can’t help but laugh at in class. I can’t thank him enough.”
