“I have this name because it is a common prefix to have at the front of your name in Nigeria and everyone on my dad’s side has it as well. 

My brother’s name is Olutomi my sister’s name is Oluremi and my dad’s name is Olusola but all of us only go what is after the Olu.

My dad chose our names (obviously) but my moms one restriction was that we didn’t have a name that was too complicated that we could be made fun of for it because she was made fun of for her name her whole life (her name is Raucheline) she was called names like ‘washing machine.’
