JP: Football

JP: 10th
NAEYE: When did you start playing?
JP: For as long as I could remember
NAEYE: Why do you continue playing this sport?
JP: I began to really enjoy it and Im kinda good if I do say so myself
NAEYE: Do you play any other sports? If so, which ones?
JP: I also do track
NAEYE: What is your training/ conditioning like?
JP: It is tough, football is a lot, and sometimes I get one on one work with my dad, but it is apart of the sport.
NAEYE: Do you feel successful in your sport?
JP: Yes
NAEYE: What is your offseason like? How do you keep in shape during it?
JP: If I was honest I don’t have an offseason so I’m always working out and doing a sport.
NAEYE: What is the hardest part of your season and what challenges you most in your sport?
JP: I don’t really know what the hardest season is but for me personally getting my hands right is really hard for my sport.
NAEYE: How do you prepare for your games/meets?
JP: It’s kinda cocky but I like to think about how I am a Porter. That I need to do better and that I’m gonna be better than my brother and father.
NAEYE: Do you feel pressured to succeed in your sport?
JP:Yes, not only am I bigger than most people in my grade. But my father played in the NFL so I feel like I need to do good. It didn’t help that my brother also went to D1. lol
NAEYE: What about your sport brings you the most joy?
JP: It’s pretty simple but when I do good I just get happy. Also when I think im doing my last name right.
