Disney Plus: Is It Worth It?

A collage of our favorite Disney shows and movies throughout the years.

Disney recently released a streaming system called Disney +. On Disney +, users are able to watch Pixar movies, Disney shows, Disney movies, Marvel movies, Star Wars related items, and different sections of National Geographic. Along with the mainstream movies that have premiered throughout theatres across the world, Disney + has a section of original movies exclusive to the site, such as a live action version of Lady and the Tramp. According to Anthony Durzo, “I probably would get it sooner or later because it has a lot of the older shows that I liked as a kid. It would be nice to look back on them.”

A subscription is $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year for full access of the five categories. Along with the shows and movies that are available constantly, Disney + streams a series of shows and movies throughout the year. Viewers are able to use Disney+ from a number of different devices like any Apple products, Xboxes, and Androids.

In my opinion, Disney+ offers a very good and broad variety of movies and shows that is worth the investment. A lot of the things on Disney+ are not available on other streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix. One of the nicest parts of Disney+ is the huge list of shows and movies that gives the audience a wide variety of options. If someone is a huge fan of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars, I’d say getting Disney+ is the right decision .Sally Cho agrees that she would get it stating that: “I probably would get it sooner or later because it has a lot of the older shows that I liked as a kid. It would be nice to look back on them.”
