Day In the Life: Online School
A full day of learning at home.
The light glares through my window making it way too bright. I asked three people about their experience with online schooling. Audrey, a female in Cohort 2 says that she wakes up at 6:30 AM. That is 30 minutes earlier than when I wake up.
The school day feels like it’s going on forever. I am hardly able to pay attention to my teachers. I have a lot of distractions in my environment that take me away from my learning. For example, sitting with my dog on the bed sounds much better than paying attention to a lecture.
The worst part of at-home learning is the loneliness. For the whole day, I am alone in my room all by myself, usually not talking to anyone. During school, I go onto my phone to talk to my friends.
I should be paying attention, but I really don’t want to.
The only positive thing about online school is waking up an hour later than normal.
Also, I go onto my phone in between classes and during the slower periods. Charlie and I share the same opinion about preferring in-person classes. On the other hand, Audrey prefers online schooling.
This video showed everything I do in a day from going on my phone to completing important assignments.
