NAI Reacts to the Amy Coney Barrett Appointment
NAI students gave their thoughts on Amy Coney Barrett and her new status.
On October 26th, the Senate voted for Amy Coney Barrett to be the newest member of the Supreme Court. She took the previous spot of RBG, even though Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s dying wish was to wait until after the election to fill her spot. Amy Coney Barrett was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts. She has strong beliefs against abortion and believes in gun rights. She sponsored an anti-abortion group in 2006. Some people question if her catholic religion will affect her legal decision making. In return, we decided to ask some NAI Students what their opinion is on her.
