NAEye: What are some Thanksgiving traditions you and your family celebrate?

Maya Sivakumar: We don’t really have traditions, but we normally get together with my cousins and have dinner together.

Maya Sivakumar: I just enjoy getting together with my family.

NAEye: What food does your family typically eat for Thanksgiving?

Maya Sivakumar: Indian cuisine mostly, but this year my family got some “traditional Thanksgiving dinner” takeout. I kind of prefer Indian food.

NAEye: What is your favorite part of Thanksgiving?

Maya Sivakumar: I love not having school and getting sleep.

NAEye: How has celebrating Thanksgiving this year changed due to the pandemic?

Maya Sivakumar: We didn’t get together with all of my family this year because of the coronavirus.
