What Does Journalism Mean to You?

What does Journalism mean to you? The definition of journalism is the activity or profession of writing for newspapers, magazines, or news websites or preparing news to be broadcast. Although this is the official definition, everybody has their own interpretation of what journalism is. On November 21, NAEye traveled to Washington D.C. to attend a journalism convention. During the convention, we asked students from around the country what journalism means to them.

Journalism to me means giving a voice to the people and allows us to share our beliefs with the world. It allows people to influence the news and keeps people aware of what is going on in the world. Let’s see what NAI students and kids from all around the country think.
